Guess what time it is! It is prototype update time! I know it’s been a little over a week since the last update. I thought it would be better to give you guys a substantial update than a bunch of mini updates through out the week. So updates may be spread apart But this will guarantee that any updates given are more involved and more condensed for easier viewing!

Where are we?

Currently we have made three new maps as part of the first chapter and that is the Dark Forest, The village and one of the houses within that village that contains the cut scene below

This scene was a “Funstrating” process. I struggled a lot putting it together, the cutscene event somehow broke and it took me so long to figure it out. As a little gift for you I made a 60 second montage so you can laugh at my pain 😀

As you can see the players image and health bar are showing in the corner

I thought it would be really cool to add some AAA jrpg mechanics like this to make this game stand out just a little more than a typical RPG maker game. This plugin is HUD Maker Ultra! by SmRndde

What’s great about this plugin is it allows me to change the overall look and feel of my battles too! I really like how the game is shaping, even though we’re only in the prototyping phase this is really shaping up to be a fantastic project. We are currently nearing 30 hours of development and I think it’s starting to show here!
